Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2007

 

9:00 A.M. Departs from Atlanta Cycling-Vinings

 

Ride Distances: 40 , 62 , 75 , 100 miles

 

Refreshments at the finish.

SELF-SUPPORT : Riders will pass up to 14 open convenience stores along the route, most are 5-7 miles apart. The longest distance between stores is 20 miles along the full 100 mile century route, mile 53-73. Use the map provided to easily plan your store stops.

ROUTE IS PAINTED AND MAPS ARE AVAILABLE. Route is very easy to follow.

 

START DIRECTIONS: Approach the start from the south to avoid The Cobb Classic. Cobb Pkwy will be closed north of Cumberland Mall on Labor Day morning.

 

From downtown Atlanta take I-75N to the Mt. Paren exit; turn left onto Mt. Paren; turn right at the light onto Northside/ Cobb Pkwy. Cross the Chattahoochee River; store ¼ mile on right.

 

From I-285 and I-75 take I-75 South toward downtown Atlanta. Exit at the first exit past the river, Mt. Paren. After exiting, turn right at the light onto Northside/ Cobb Pkwy. Cross the Chattahoochee River, store ¼ mile on right.
