"Tommy's Ten Gaps" ride. This is a scenic and strenuous 36
mile ride over 10 steep, and short gaps, through Sandy
Springs, Vinings, and Buckhead. You will find a PDF cue sheet attached. We
will average 13.3 MPH
We
will leave from the former Target Parking Lot (1 block west of Roswell
Road on Johnson Ferry Rd. in Sandy Springs). Noon
lunch
following the ride at the Sandy Springs
Mellow Mushroom.
The
amount of climbing 3600 feet is a little shy of
the same that your would ride on the Dahlonega 3 gaps
loop from the Stone Pile. This will be a DROP RIDE. In
case you get dropped, or drop me, be sure to print out and bring one ot
the attached cue sheets.
